Dark Side of HR: Preventing Workplace Violence, Harassment and Bullying

Do you know your obligations on preventing violence, harassment, and bullying in the workplace?

Employers in Canada have a legal obligation to provide a safe work environment to their employees. This includes a workplace free of violence, harassment, and bullying.

Employees who are bullied or harassed are more likely to experience chronic stress, anxiety, and depression. They may take time off work more frequently or even leave your business.

Not only should you take proactive steps to prevent violence, harassment and bullying in the workplace, but also be prompt in taking appropriate disciplinary action when any incidents of violence, harassment and bullying occur.

Non-compliance with your provincial legal requirements on preventing workplace violence, harassment and bullying may lead to fines and claims – besides damaging your business reputation.

In this webinar, our experts share what policies and procedures you need to build a safe and respectful workplace.

After watching this webinar, you’ll learn:
  • What is considered workplace harassment and bullying
  • How to prevent violence, harassment, and bullying at work
