Supporting Women at Work: Are You Doing It Right?

Women in Canada still earn much less than men. According to Statistics Canada, in 2019, the gender wage gap was 12.1%. Women earned an average of $28.06 per hour, while men made $31.93.

Besides inequity in pay, women also face greater discrimination, harassment, lack of access to mentorship opportunities and representation in leadership roles. Typically, they also have to bear the greater share of caregiving responsibilities at home, which leaves them with fewer leisure hours.

If women in your workplace don’t have access to resources that they need to do their best at work or a work environment where they feel safe, respected, and valued, it’ll impact their morale and productivity, and ultimately your bottom-line.

It is important that employers fulfill their legal obligations towards women employees and create a level-playing field for all genders.

In this webinar, our experts, Olivia Cicchini and Dixon Karichian, share guidance and tips on how you can best support women in your workplace.

After watching the webinar, you’ll know about:
